She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Canty, Sr. and Virginia Canty; her daughter Tiffany Canty; and her siblings, Rebecca Thompson, Jennie Dukes, Boykin, Robert Jr., Floyd and Jonathan Canty.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Canty of Wilmington; and her siblings, Moses Canty (Brenda) of Wilmington, Hattie Canty of Myrtle Beach, Catherine Strong (Dennis) of Kingstree, Gwendolyn Delegall (Dennis) of Brooklyn, Wanda Canty of Kingstree, Bernadette Cooper of Statesboro and Georgia. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the John H. Shaw's Funeral Home (520 Red Cross St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
