He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stevenson Nix of Wilmington; his daughters, Becky Nix High (Les) of Whiteville, N. C. and Angie Nix Morales (Bob); and his grandchildren, Carly High McElwee (Nathan) of Raleigh, N. C., Margaret High of Chicago, Breland Morales Duderstadt (Michael) of Key West, Fla., Grace Morales of Tampa, Fla. and David Morales.
