With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Corey James Atkinson of Wilmington, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Atkinson and Henrietta Atkinson (Opalinski); and his brother David Michael Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Atkinson (Rhine); his daughter Mckenzie Murray; his stepson Terry Ramsey (Judy); his brother Scott Atkinson (Roberta); his grandchildren, Katelyn Ramsey, Dennis Lynch, Jacob Locklear and Kyle Ramsey; his siblings-in-law, Gary Burrows, Penelope Riggs and Cindy Fairfax; his nieces, Lisa Ferree and Erin Jankowiak; and his pet Daisy.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Quinn McGowen Funeral Home - Wilmington (315 Willow Woods Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
