She was predeceased by: her father Thomas May Sykes; and her siblings, John Taylor and Jean. She is survived by: her spouse Havard "Jack" Wood; her daughter Joni (Nick Gruber) of Tuscaloosa, AL; her grandson Isaac Evans; her daughter Donna Wood of Hampstead, NC; her grandson Joshua (Samantha Evans); her great grandchildren, McKenna and Delanie; and also, Issac, Junior and Isabell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in her extended family.
