She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Rouse; and her brothers, Robert Parker, J. C. Parker and Johnnie Parker. She is survived by: her sister Joan Whitehurst of Greenville, NC; her children, Michael Rouse (Gail), Bobby Rouse (Pam) of Wilmington and Carol Stovall (Shawn) of Leland; her grandchildren, Caroline Hunt, Chrissy Hutto (Curtis, Sr.) and Robbie Rouse; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Hite and Curtis Hutto, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
