She was predeceased by: her parents, Madeleine Kellum Humphrey and George Dudley Humphrey, Sr.; her aunt Chloris Kellum (Willard Sigmund Swiers); and her brother G. Dudley Humphrey, Jr.. She is survived by: her friend Dr. Roscoe H. Turlington; her son-in-law Dr. Justin G. Miller; her granddaughters, Kellum of Wilmington, NC and Mae Humphrey Miller of Wilmington, NC; her stepsons, H. Clark Swiers (Mary) of Roanoke, VA, Charles A. Swiers (Susan) of Asheboro, NC and Wayne H. Swiers (Sandra) of Brevard, NC; and her brother Woodus Kellum Humphrey of Cullman, AL.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (125 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
