As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; and his grandchildren, Willa, Blythe and Peter Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice in Wilmington, NC, or to Parkinson's disease research.
