She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fleming and Mary Virginia Highland; and her husband Gaston D. Faison. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Faison of Richmond Virginia, Melissa Miley, Thomas Faison of Washington, DC and Elsie Shields. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
