She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lawrence Burchette and Fleda Berry Burchette; her husband Claude H; and her granddaughter Lisa Nixon McMillan. She is survived by: her daughters, Gwen Smith Nixon (Lynwood) and Daphne Smith George (Mark); her grandchildren, Charles Nixon (Ann), Tiffany Jernigan (Dameon) and Phillip Stewart (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Macy Nixon, Hunter Nixon, Kaylee Jernigan, Kayla McMillan, Allison Jernigan, Brooke McMillan, Carah Jernigan, Mia Block, Stella Block, Lillian Block and Sophia Block; and her great great grandchild Kole Yates.
