She was predeceased by: her husband William Ross Freshwater, Jr. (Dub); her sister Fran Gray; and her parents, Carl Thompson and Sarah Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Bill Freshwater (Jan) and Tom Freshwater (Myra); and her grandchildren, Ross Freshwater, Whitney Miller, Zach Freshwater, Ben McCoy, Dawn McCoy, John Freshwater and Katherine George. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
