She is survived by: her son Vernie E. "Eddie" Cavenaugh, Jr. of Wilmington; her grandson Joshua Matthew Cavenaugh of LaGrange; her great grandchildren, Emma and Presley; her siblings, Larry Matthews of Rose Hill and Gerelene M. Cavanaugh of Greensboro; and her friend Joyce Wommack of Wilmington.
