With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Charles Bates of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2023 at the age of 31. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jean, Joe Kuley and Richard High. He is survived by: his sister Jessica Pearl Bates; his parents, John Bates and Lori Bates; and his grandparents, Marguerite Kumli High and John Bernard Bates. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
