She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Pierce Williams and Mary Blanche Williams (Gray); her husband Rev. Charles Smith; and her brother Mahlon Pierce Williams, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles Smith, Jr. (Michelle) and Katherine McVey; and her grandchildren, Andrea, Sara Jayne (Kyle), Sabrina (Zac), Amy Jo (John) and Nicholas (Brittany). She is also survived by nephews and great-grandchildren.
