It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph H. Phillips Sr. of Willow Spring, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Phillips and Repsie Phillips; and his siblings, Mary Ester O'Mara, Sadie Mae Bissette, Clentis Rose Capps, Sue Creech, Vernon Phillips, Nelson Eugene Phillips, Donald Wayne Phillips and Percy Lee Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Young Phillips; his children, Tiffany Minter (Chuck) and Joseph Phillips (Angie); his grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Reagan and Connor; his sister Linda Blackley; his siblings-in-law, James Young, Janice Daniels and Becky Phillips; and his pets, Stormy and Bandit. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
