She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Walter Greene and Rachie Lou Hankins Greene; her husband Daniel Hughes; and her siblings, Clarence Greene, Marie Cline, Walter Greene Jr., Irene Tilley, Odell Tompkins and Sherman Thompkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church at 1701 Bud Lipscomb Road, Willow Spring, NC 27592.
