She was predeceased by: her parent John Norris; her husband Joseph Elwood Johnson; and her brothers, Bobby of Four Oaks, Jerry of Four Oaks, Johnnie Norris of Four Oaks and Roland Norris of Winston-Salem.
She is survived by: her parent Elma Norris; her daughter Joanne Brown (Robi) of Willow Spring; her grandchildren, Hannah, Damon, Ashley and Brandy; her foster children, Tammy Rogers of New York and Jerry Norris, Jr. of Four Oaks; her sister Barbara Bagwell of Garner; and her sisters-in-law, Rebecca Gauldin and Ida Nell Moore.
