He was predeceased by: his parents, Reola Locklear and Russell Locklear; his wife Peggy Jean Locklear; his son John Glen Locklear; his grandson Scotty Locklear; and his brother Russell Locklear, Jr. (Charles).
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Locklear; his grandchildren, Chris, Tiffany, Marcus, Jaylen and Chassidy; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, Maricella, Dominic and Eli; and his siblings, Jesse A. Locklear, Marlie Locklear, Jerry Locklear, Larry Locklear, Ola Lee Bonnette, Diana Locklear, Angela Scott, Rose Mary Locklear and Teresa Jacobs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
Memorial contributions may be made in Charles' memory to his church, Black Creek Worship Center at 17359 Hwy 210, Angier, NC 27501.
