She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Augustus Powell and Julia Frances Redd Powell; her husband William Thomas Locke, Jr.; and her siblings, Dan Powell, Larry Powell and Janet Hendricks.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Griffin and Kevin Griffin; her grandchildren, McCauley Griffin, Julia Griffin, Forrest Griffin and Katie Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Lainey Griffin and Jett Griffin. She is also survived by her family, her church family.
Donations may be made to the Memorial Baptist Church in lieu flowers.
