He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Dossie; his brother Bobby Stalls; and his father-in-law Bill Elks. He is survived by: his wife Louise Elks Griffin; his children, Justin Griffin (Ashley) of Williamston and Kellee Ring (Andrew) of Willow Springs; his siblings, Henry Griffin (Dinah) of Lumberton and Penny Bryant (Allen) of Williamston; his mother-in-law Jeannette Elks of Williamston; and his grandchildren, Mariah, Nathan, Kassidy Griffin, Jaxson, Finlee Ring, Jacey Willoughby and Braxton Hope. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
