He is survived by: his children, Darrell Brown of Raleigh, NC, Wayland Brown of Durham, NC, Natalie B. Wiggins of Williamston, NC and Vanessa Brown-Moore of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, James Melvin Brown "Snooky" of Williamston, NC, William N. Brown "Jute" of Williamston, NC, Jimmy Ray Brown "Jim" of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Dorothy L. Wilder of Williamston, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
