She is survived by: her husband William J. Powell; her daughters, Sharon Brown of Parmele, NC, Jacqueline Hollis (Alton), Sheila Powell and Erica Powell of Winterville, NC; her grandchildren, Ashanti Williams, Jy'Quarius Williams, Trinity Williams and Eli Hollis; her nephews, Jonathan McCrary and Brandon Barnes; her godchildren, Jerry Baker (Ruth) and Christa Dawson (Horace); her siblings, Roosevelt Roberson of Parmele, NC, Clinton Roberson of Parmele, NC, McCoy Roberson (Doris) of Parmele, NC, Hort Manning (Sonya) of Manhattan, NY, Joyce McCrary of Parmele, NC and Glenda Barnes of Parmele, NC; her daughter-in-law Nika Powell; her siblings-in-law, Sheila Roberson, Gloria Roberson, Janie Moore, Leonard Powell (Fannie), Elbert Powell (Isabelle) and Alton Ray Powell (Linda); and her close friend Gladys Andrews. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
