She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Dewey and Betty Tyre Simpson; her husband Pete Cullipher; and her siblings, Myrtle Simpson, Rachael Hahn, Garland Simpson, Dewey Simpson and Wesley Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, Ken Cullipher (Lou) and Debbie Cowin; and her grandchildren, Megan Anderson (Rawls), Lauren Keech (Zak), Kenzi Cullipher and Wayne Johnson (Carrie Beth).

Commemorative gifts may be made to The Williamston House and Amedisys Hospice for their wholehearted commitment and diligent care, as well as the Alzheimer's Association.
