It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia Speller Peele of Williamston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lloyd "Boone" Speller and Annie Ruth Moore Speller; and her sister Sandra Wynne Cahoon. She is survived by: her sister Teresa Cushing of Washington; her husband Gordon Slade Peele; her daughters, Sherrie Varney (Daryl) of Sims, Terry Roberson and Wendy Moore of Williamston; her grandchildren, Tanner, Leah Moore, Kaylee Varney Webb and Thomas Roberson; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Drake, Griffin, Lillian and Boone.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Macedonia Christian Church (7640 Hwy 17, Williamston, NC 27892).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Griffins Township Fire Department, 5120 Fire Department Road, Williamston NC.
