With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Matthews (Williamston, North Carolina), who passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Warren Matthews of Spring Green and Amy Sweers (Brien) of Winterville; her grandchildren, Will Roberson (Ronnie), Martha Lynn Morgan (Preston), Jessica Leonard (McKenzie), Katherine Sweers, Cliff Matthews, James Matthews and Grace Sweers; and her great grandchildren, Cody Thompson, Abi Thompson, Annabell Leonard and Adalyn Leonard.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Gold Point Church of Christ.
