She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wooten and Bessie Brown Wooten; her siblings, Bessie W. Little, Helen W. Cooper, Sidney Powell and James R. Wooten; her husband Rev. James T. Nobles; and her children, Melvin L. Thomas and Lillian.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Wooten Thorne and Roy L. Wooten; her children, James Nobles Jr., Lonnie Nobles and Mary T. "Sally" Hopkins; her godchildren, Minister Peggy Wooten and Michael Harrell; her son-in-law Jessie Stewart; and her siblings-in-law, Maude Barnes, Helen James, Julia Ward Wooten, Clara McCloughn, James Thomas, Willie Throne and Rufus Huggins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
