He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bobby Peaks and Ronald Peaks. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bright Peaks; his children, Jodie Keith Peaks (Becky) of Williamston, Buddy Womble (Beverly) of Bear Grass, Donnie Edison Peaks (Suzanne) of Tallahassee, FL and Sharron Bowen (Ray) of Chocowinity; his sisters, Janie Nicholson of Williamston, Jo Morgan of Winterville and Kathy Deans of Bear Grass; his grandchildren, Allison Peaks, Melissa Peaks, Little Buddy Womble, Amanda Womble Clark, Michael Bowen, Matthew Bowen and Trey Price; and his great grandchildren, Wayland Womble and Grayson Clark.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the benevolent fund at Macedonia Christian Church.
