He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gurganus; his daughters, Sonya Hedrick (Bryan), Bridget Warren (Eddie) and Wendy Gurganus; his siblings, Jane Thomas, Shelton Gurganus (Eloise) and Robbie Gurganus (Pam); and his grandchildren, Elijah Warren and Hannah Hedrick.
