She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Jefferson and Ella Gurganious Hux; her husband Paul James Hartman (Upon); and her siblings, Nora Price, Mamie Worrell, Jessie Hux, Toby Hux and Lawrence Hux.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Hartman (Marlene) of Vista, CA, Larry Hartman (Judy) of Marion, NC, Jimmy Hartman Clarksville (Dawn) and Paula Terry (Steve) of Hartsville, SC.; and her caregiver Julie Luckadoo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The First United Methodist Church, 114 East Church Street, Williamston, NC 27892.
