It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Baxter Harrison of Williamston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Cortez and Maggie Wynne Harrison; his siblings, E. D., Levi, Alfred, Nancy, Peggy and Diane; his daughter-in-law Dawn Bullock Harrison; and his sister-in-law Margaret Gardner Rawls.

He is survived by: his former wife Helen Gardner; his wife Susan Wobbleton; his children, Billie Mitchell Harrison (Julia), Alan Gardner Harrison and Becky Harrison Peaks (Jodie) of Williamston, NC.; his stepchildren, John Wobbleton (Ali), Susan Cottrell (Wayne), Joe Wobbleton (Pam), Janet Corey and Fran Peele (Jimbo); his grandchildren, Tanner Harrison of Williamston, NC, Allison Peaks Swain (Bert) of Williamston, NC, Melissa Peaks of Williamston, NC, Debbie Bryant (Michael) of Williamston, NC and Brian Harrison (Jennifer) of Clayton, NC.; his stepgrandchildren, LeeAnn Rogerson, John Wobbleton, Marissa Cottrell, Hannah Broome, Miles Wobbleton, Luke Corey, Hope Corey, Haley Bonds, Brooks Bonds and Morgan Bonds; his great grandchildren, Wyatt of Clayton, NC, Ellie Harrison of Clayton, NC, Avery of Williamston, NC., Aubrey Bryant of Williamston, NC. and Gia Swain of Williamston, NC.; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mallory Rogerson, Carleigh Wobbleton, Cody Wobbleton and Jordyn Corey; his brother-in-law Joseph Rawls of Williamston; and his friends, Becky and Jodie Peaks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
