With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Woolard Lilley (Williamston, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Woolard and Ruth Woolard; her husband James C. Lilley, Sr.; and her brother Larry Woolard. She is survived by: her children, James C. Lilley, Jr. (Stephanie), Amy Sheppard (Jay) and Marsha Vosler (Chris); her sister Betty Holder; and her grandsons, Jeremiah Lilley and Joshua Sheppard (Lauren).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
