She is survived by: her son Michael Brian Hattem (Amy Bailey Hattem) of Greenville; her granddaughter Bailey Hattem Edwards (Doug Edwards); her great grandchild Peyton Lennon Edwards of Winterville; her sisters, Audrey O'Briant Talley of Belhaven and Phyllis O'Briant Worthington of Grifton; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Allard of Williamston and Bobby Greene (Janice) of Williamston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Biggs Funeral Home (302 W Main St, Williamston, NC 27892). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
