He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry and Carolene Lanier Mote. He is survived by: his brother Harlan Keith Mote (Vivian) of Willard; his nieces, Amanda Schambs (Brian) and LeAnn Hunter (Eddie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Conner Beringer, Landen Beringer, Annsley Horne, Keith Cameron Schambs and Katherine Schambs.
