With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Southerland of Willard, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Southerland to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennie Mobley and Ella Brown; her siblings, Novene Merritt, Marie Swaggerty, Ray Mobley, Chuck Mobley, Elton Mobley, Orland Mobley, Al Mobley and Ottis Brown; and her daughter-in-law Mary Moore Southerland.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Greer (Allen), Judy Grim Porter (Ken) and Pate Southerland; her grandchildren, Dan Southerland (Amy), Laurie Zeltzer (Joe), Adam Ramsey, Brian Ramsey (Autumn), Will Grim (Taylor) and Lauren Flynn (Chris); and her sisters, Diane Conway and Jackie Jones (Jimmy). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Padgett Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
