She was predeceased by: her parents, John Batts and Etta Parker Batts; her husband Logan Rogers; her siblings, Lois Savage and Donald Batts; and her son-in-law Garland Frye.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Rogers (Cindy) of Watha and Pat Frye of Wallace; her grandsons, Aaron Frye, Andrew Frye (Jessica), Ben Rogers (Britney) and Nick Rogers (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Brady, Mackenzie, Loreley, Logan, Griffin, Evie, Brody and Ellery; her brothers, Ronald Batts (Carolyn) of Burgaw and Gerald Batts (Sharon) of Hampstead; her niece Janet Hewlett; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Rogers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Penderlea Baptist Church (5429 Eleanor Roosevelt Ln, Willard, NC 28478). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
