She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Piner and Gladys Wheeler Piner. She is survived by: her husband James Wallace Hicks; her daughter Emily Kay McCracken; her granddaughter Jessica Carr; her son-in-law Lee Howard; her daughters, Sarah Elizabet Howard, Donna Lynn Carr (Thomas) and June Annette Wood (Lonnie); and her sister Ruth Jarman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
