He was predeceased by: his parents, Moody Whitford and Agnes Claire Burgess Brock; his siblings, Floyd Brock, Fred Brock and Dorothy Bain; and his siblings-in-law, Hugh "Buck" Bain and Becky Brock.
He is survived by: his significant other Althea Giddens Brock; his children, Martin Brock (Gretchen) of Pa and Michelle Digiovanni of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Justin Brock, Lauren Digiovanni Lane (Clayton), Jacob Digiovanni, Lizzie Horchler (Paul), Richard Whitley and Ashleigh Robertson (Will); his great grandchildren, Daniel Thigpen and Kaesyn Brock; his brothers, Eldredge Brock of Virginia, Larry Brock (Patricia) of Durham, Robert Brock (Shelby) of Greensboro and Roy Brock (Ann) of Durham; and his friend Wayne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews extended family.
