He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence Chadwick and Elizabeth Hardison Chadwick; his wife Evelyn Dudley Chadwick; and his brother Ronald Chadwick. He is survived by: his siblings, Judith Ann Rivenbark (Samuel), Carolyn Faye Miller, Gary Dale Chadwick and William Kent Chadwick (Laura); and his stepdaughter Jolene Denise Autry. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
