She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Quinton Caison and Julia Elizabeth Howard Caison; her sons, Joseph Allen Porter and Kenneth Ray Porter; her great grandchild Julia Violet Porter; her husband Carl Edward Hardison, Sr.; her son Claude Quinton Porter (Sheila); her stepchildren, Carl Hardison, Jr. and Susan Ruddell (James); and her daughter-in-law Wanda Mercer. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
