She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin Blanton and Gladys Estelle Blanton; her sister Brenda Blanton James; and her aunt Inez Scearce. She is survived by: her husband Dallas Ray Fountain; her children, Teresa Fountain of Wilmington and Kenneth Ray Fountain of Watha; her grandchildren, Caroline Fountain Moore (Jackson) of Surf City and Jameson Paul Fountain of Watha; her sister-in-law Loraine Fountain Stroud; her niece Alicia James Griffin; and her close friend Sandra Kenan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willard Missionary Baptist Church (45 Willard Railroad St, Willard, NC 28478). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
