She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Pierce and Myrtle Norris Turner; her husband Gene Strickland of Willard; her children, Sandra Mobley of Willard and Nicholas Mobley of Fountaintown; her grandchildren, Kyleigh Matthews and Olivia Sanderson; her siblings, Artie Carpenter of Chinquapin, James "Buddy" Carpenter of New Bern and Deane Carpenter of Chinquapin; her stepdaughter Amber Dixon (Marcus) of Magnolia; and her stepgrandchildren, Hannah Grace Dixon and Paxton Dixon.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, PO Box 339, Wallace, NC 28466 to help with Rose's funeral expenses.
