He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Jones and Margaret Holt Jones; his son Andy Coyle; his wife Alleine Hughes; and his siblings, Bobby Jones and Brenda Humphries.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Jones of Gaffney, SC, Tammy Jones (Mike) of Gaffney, SC and Greg Jones of Gaffney, SC; and his stepson Bill "Junior" Hughes. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
