He was predeceased by: his parents, Almer Pierce and Irene Henderson Pierce; his granddaughter Tiffany Nicole Spell; and his brothers, Thurman Pierce and James Earl Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Ann Pierce Spell (Lenny) of Harrells; his grandchildren, Amanda Hall (Kyle) of Harrells and Lenny Ray Spell, Jr. (Ashley) of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Reid Hall, Kylie Hall, Luke Spell and Virginia Spell; and his siblings, Eugene Pierce (Linda) of Wallace, Charles Pierce (Rosa) of Virginia, Pearl Cavenaugh (Larry) of Magnolia and Pam Harrell (David) of Watha. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
