It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Felix Glass of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivery Glass and Maggie "Mae" Staley Glass; and his siblings, Noah Lee Glass, Roy Glass, Dean Glass, Helen Glass, Mary Call and Ethel Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Minton Glass; his daughter Billie Glass Smithey (Anthony) of Wilkesboro; his siblings, Blanche Johnston Baity (Bob) of Wilkesboro, Annie Mae Childress of Roaring River, Linda Holbrook of Jonesville, Paul Glass of Roaring River and David Glass (Irene) of Roaring River; his granddaughter Megan Roberts (Jeremy) of North Wilkesboro; his great grandchild Ivory Roberts of North Wilkesboro; and his nephew Gilbert Glass (Carolyn) of Roaring River.
