It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Necessary of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hubert and Ruth Necessary (Osborne); and his siblings, C. H., Patty and Roger. He is also survived by his 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

Long before Covid-19 made gathering in groups less than ideal, he shared his hopes for an outdoor service on the Watauga River in Boone during the spring or summer months.
