It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Ayers III of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dudley Ayers Jr. and June Sawyer; and his wife Judith Mooney Ayers. He is survived by: his children, Stacie Lilley (James) of Lawrenceburg, KY and Thomas Dudley Ayers IV (Melissa) of Advance; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lilley, Emily Ayers, Kayla Ayers and Maya Ayers; and his close friend Nellie Rash of Wilkesboro.
