He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Chastain and Ruby Wages Chastain; and his brother Fred Chastain Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Osborne; his daughters, Tricia Chastain of Missouri and Xen Blackmore of Texas; and his brother Frank Chastain.
