It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Snookie Pennell Childress of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Albert Ray Childress; her brother James Fred Pennell; her grandsons, Stephen Critz, Jr. and Those; her daughters, Melody Critz (Steve) and Kim Bouchillon (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Amanda Critz Staley (Michael), Kaitlyn Bouchillon, Sarah Critz Caudle (Jeremy), Daniel Bouchillon, Matthew Bouchillon and Jameson Bouchillon; her great grandchild Alexys Caudle; and her niece Scottie Barnes.
