She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Parks Pierce, Jr. (Tom); her sons, Michael Smith (Sharon) of North Wilkesboro and Ricky Smith (Wanda) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Tim Smith of Knoxville, Valerie Lovette (Jeremy) of Wilkesboro and Megan Smith of Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Carter Lovette and Carson Lovette; and her sister Alene Faw (Bobby) of Millers Creek.
December 24, 1938 - October 26, 2018 Mrs. Shirley Eller Pierce, age 79 of Wilkesboro, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 26th, 2018 after a courageous fight with Alzheimer's.
