She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Gilbert Cherry and Irene Gilbert Gurganus; her son John Gilbert Cox (Debra) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Charles Cox of High Point and Terri Lynn Cox of Winston-Salem; and her great grandchildren, Dustin Mullins and Mackenzie McLaughlin.
