It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Marlowe Anderson of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Marlowe and Laura Estep Marlowe; her husband Marshall Mott Anderson, Jr.; her son Jerry Roger Anderson; and her siblings, Lee Marlowe, Rev. Hoover Marlowe, James Marlowe, Dwight Marlowe, Frank Marlowe, Faye Bostian, Esther Pardue, Annie Link, Rose Gwaltney and Carol Bunton.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Anderson Ledford of North Wilkesboro; her daughter-in-law Joyce Anderson of Wilkes; her grandchildren, Cinnamon Martin (Jim) of Purlear, Jennifer Baker (Mike) of Wilkesboro, Julie Brown (Jason) of Mooresville and Matt Ledford (Jen) of North Wilkesboro; her sister Marion Parlier of Stony Point; her sister-in-law Ann Marlowe of Taylorsville; and her grandson Jonathan Anderson (Sherrie) of Moravian Falls. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
